Sweet Orange Epsom Salt Scrub

Epsom Salt Scrub:
1 cup Epsom Salts
1 tbsp grapeseed oil
10 drops essential oil (I used Sweet Orange by Aura Cacia)

Mix everything together (it’s fun to get a little messy – use your hands!) and you’re good to go.  I keep my scrub in a jar next to my bathtub and scrub as necessary (don’t do it more than once a week or you’ll over-exfoliate!).  Sometimes I’ll add about 1/2 cup to the bath to soothe my sore muscles.

I did a double recipe, but you can do a single, triple, quadruple… whatever makes you happy.  Every essential oil has a different aromatherapeutic property, so do some research!  Sweet Orange is: cheering, refreshing, uplifting.

  1. Yes. Must do.

Don’t forget cane sugar, coffee grounds, and olive oil… the poor (wo)man’s substitute. Much messier. But also, strangely effective…
