Pappardelle with Tomato-Almond Pesto = Godsend

First off, why is it August but the air smells like Christmas?

Second off, holy crap this pasta is incredible!  And yes, I know technically it calls for linguine but I really wanted to use pappardelle, I just couldn’t help myself. Pappardelle is so much better than linguine.

So much better I italicized so.  I bet you it would be even more so much better if I used fresh pasta next time.  Falletti’s you’ll be hearing from me soon.

Seriously, what’s not to love.  Tomatoes + basil + garlic + olive oil?  And the almonds… well… those almonds give it an insane texture.  There I go with the italicizing again.

Color is a little weird though, def didn’t turn out like Deb’s.  I think I over-blended.

Oh. My. God.

I’m an over-blender.

How will I ever succeed in life?
